Past Instructor Kelly Maclean

Kelly has been a long time instructor/student at the Shou-Yu Liang Wushu Taiji Qigong Institute and currently teaches Wushu basics and attends Iron Shirt Qigong, Xing Yi, and Bagua. Having her roots in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she originally moved to Vancouver to study music (specifically the viola). Shortly afterwards in 1988 she found her true calling in Wushu and it has been her life ever since.

During her time with the school, Kelly has won numerous awards and widespread recognition. She has been featured in several pay-per-view television shows as well as Inside Kung Fu magazine, and can also be seen in several of Grandmaster Liang's many instructional videos.

For her, martial arts are a means to physical, mental and spiritual cultivation. It is a way of self discovery, and a way of exploring and fully reaching one's potential.
