Posture 6: Left Deflect, Parry, and Punch
Figure 5-32: Shift your weight back to your left leg, extend your left palm forward and pull your right palm back next to your waist.
Figure 5-33: Turn your right foot out, shift all your weight on it and touch the ball of your left foot next to it. At the same time, hold your left hand in a fist and lower to your waist level, and circle your right palm back then up to head level.
Figure 5-34: Continue the previous arm movements. Lower your right palm next to your waist, while circling your left fist up and forward. At the same time, lift your left foot up slightly and place it down in front of you with your heel touching the floor. (Step East)
Figure 5-35: Turn your left foot out and shift your weight on it. Then step forward with your right leg, while pulling your left fist back to your waist and extending your right palm forward.
