Basic Kicks - High Back Sweep Kick

High Back Sweep Kick
This is a kick either with the back of the heel or the sole of the foot.
Start with your left leg in front with your left arm extended in front of your chest (Figure 2-38). Turn your left foot out and step forward with your right foot. At the same time, swing your right fist around in front of you (Figure 2-39). Push off with your left foot, shift all your weight onto your right foot, and spin 180 degrees around to your left. At the same time, sweep your left leg up (Figure 2-40). Continue the momentum of your left foot and put it down behind your right leg and repeat the same kick across the length of the training area. Then do the kick with the other leg.
