Posture 9: Fist Under Elbow
Figure 5-50: Shift your weight back to your left leg, drop your right elbow, open your right palm, and rotate your right palm up. At the same time, open your left palm.
Figure 5-51: Turn your right foot in, shift all your weight on it and bring your left foot next to your right. At the same time, bring both palms next to your chest as if your were holding a ball.
Figure 5-52: Step to your left with your left foot, extend your left forearm up and forward. At the same time, lower your right palm next to your, waist. (Step Southeast)
Figure 5-53: Turn your left foot out, shift all your weight on it, and bring your right foot behind your left foot. At the same time extend your right palm up and forward, and lower your left palm down next to your waist.
Figure 5-54: Shift all your weight to your right leg. Lift your left foot up and touch down on your heel. At the same time, extend your left palm forward as your right hand becomes a fist and lowers until it is under your left elbow. (Face East)
